Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) uses a powerful magnetic field and
radiowaves to image the body. MRI is commonly used to examine all areas of the
body. A special kind of MRI exam, called magnetic resonance angiography (MRA),
examines the arteries and veins and may, in some cases, eliminate the need for invasive
procedures.
All MRI exams at RANI are interpreted by a board certified
radiologist with training in MRI.
Norwood MRI Center is located at Caritas Norwood Hospital across the
street from the Guild Medical Center. To schedule an MRI, call (781)762-4268.
